Mayo Clinic says on its executive health FAQ that its program offers year-round support and a high-level relationship, but that it is not a concierge medicine program.
People searching for concierge medicine costs abroad are usually weighing premium, high-service preventive evaluations. So this guide compares executive health programs, the category that publishes pricing or itemized quotes.
What US Executive Health Programs Cost
Mayo Clinic
Mayo Clinic does not publish a fixed price. Its costs and insurance page says the cost depends on age, gender, personal and family history, symptoms and risk factors. Extra tests ordered by the physician, such as a colonoscopy or biopsy, can change both the cost and the length of your stay.
The program runs as a customized one-, two- or three-day itinerary, according to Mayo’s program overview. Payment can be through corporate billing, insurance or self-pay, and insurance coverage depends on your carrier and plan.
Cleveland Clinic
Cleveland Clinic publishes a 2024 self-pay fee schedule with itemized prices. The base assessment (scheduling, a pre-visit nurse call, history and physical, and a written report) is $1,346. Other listed items include:
- Electrocardiogram: $180
- Hearing test: $183
- Spirometry: $330
- Exercise stress test: $860 (listed as dependent on age or risk factors)
- Screening colonoscopy: $3,070 (listed as an additional service)
Adding every item in the “recommended core services” list gives about $3,560 for men and about $3,780 for women. That total is our own arithmetic on the published figures, and it excludes the age- and risk-dependent tests. The schedule states that pricing is subject to change.
Cleveland Clinic’s program page says many insurance carriers cover only a very small portion of executive health services, and that the cost of diagnostic procedures is the patient’s responsibility. The self-pay prices above cannot be billed to insurance.
If you need a specialist, the clinic’s program brochure describes priority access to more than 120 medical and surgical specialists, with consultations generally arranged within 48 hours.
What Executive Health Checks Cost in India
Indian hospitals list fixed package prices online. The prices below are the rupee listings on each hospital’s website, shown to domestic patients and varying by city. International patient departments may quote differently. Apollo’s international patient page describes its ProHealth and Apollo Zen preventive programs but lists no prices, so ask for a written quote.
- Apollo ProHealth Executive Health Program (Lucknow listing): ₹4,750 (about $50). The listing names a 2D echo, haemogram, sugar, lipid, renal and liver profiles, and an abdominal ultrasound, plus a Pap smear for women.
- Apollo ProHealth Whole Body Program (Delhi listing): ₹10,000 (about $105). Apollo describes it as organ-wise diagnostic tests with a specialist consultation.
- Medanta Years to Life (Gurugram): ₹28,000 (about $290). The men’s listing includes a coronary CT angiogram, ECG, stress echo or TMT, a DEXA scan of the spine, abdominal ultrasound, and consultations with a cardiologist, physician, urologist and dentist.

The published Indian prices are far lower than the US self-pay figures. But the packages are not identical, and some of the Indian listings are for domestic patients. Use this table to decide what to ask about, not as a final quote.
What the Price Gap Does Not Capture
Insurance. Mayo says coverage depends on your carrier and plan, and Cleveland Clinic says many carriers cover very little of an executive health visit. Some executives also have the program paid by their employer. If you are comparing out-of-pocket cost, find out what you would actually pay at home. For an Indian package, ask your insurer whether it reimburses preventive screening abroad before you travel.
Scope. A package price and an itemized fee schedule are different things. Cleveland Clinic lists extras such as a colonoscopy separately, and Indian packages differ in which scans and consultations they bundle. Compare itemized lists, not totals.
Follow-up. Cleveland Clinic documents its specialist access and timing. For an Indian hospital, ask for the same in writing: who arranges a specialist if a result is abnormal, and how quickly.
Travel. The prices above are for the health check only. They do not include flights, accommodation or local transport.
Before You Book: A Checklist for International Patients
- Request a written, itemized quote from the hospital’s international patient team, listing every test, consultation and report.
- Check the visa. India’s e-Medical Visa is valid for 60 days, according to the Indian government’s e-Visa FAQ. It is open only to nationals of eligible countries, and your passport needs at least six months’ validity. Apply only through the official portal, indianvisaonline.gov.in; the Indian government warns about fraudulent e-visa websites.
- Ask what happens if something abnormal shows up, including how referrals work and what further care would cost.
- Ask how results will be shared with your doctor at home.
- Confirm your insurance position before you compare prices.
