Booking Conditions

Please read these conditions carefully before confirming your booking with MedicHorizon. By proceeding with a booking you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Last updated: March 2026.

1. Definitions
"MedicHorizon" refers to MedicHorizon Ltd and its representatives. "Client" refers to the individual booking or travelling. "Journey" means the complete package of services arranged by MedicHorizon including medical, travel, accommodation, and recovery services. "Hospital" refers to any medical facility included in a Journey.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit (typically 20% of the total journey cost) and the signed booking form. MedicHorizon will issue a written confirmation within 48 hours of receiving both. No booking is confirmed until written confirmation is issued by MedicHorizon.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified. Prices are fixed at the time of booking confirmation and will not change, except where a Client requests changes to their Journey after confirmation. The balance of the journey cost is due 30 days before departure. Payments are accepted by bank transfer or major credit card.
4. Cancellation by the Client
Cancellations must be notified in writing to MedicHorizon. The following cancellation charges apply: More than 60 days before departure — deposit forfeited. 30–60 days before departure — 50% of total journey cost. Less than 30 days before departure — 100% of total journey cost. MedicHorizon strongly recommends comprehensive travel and medical insurance that covers cancellation.
5. Medical Disclaimer
MedicHorizon is a medical travel coordination service, not a medical provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. All medical decisions are made solely by the Client and their treating physicians. MedicHorizon accepts no liability for medical outcomes, complications, or adverse events arising from any medical procedure undertaken during a Journey.
6. Insurance
All Clients are required to hold valid travel insurance that includes medical evacuation coverage for the duration of their Journey. MedicHorizon recommends specialist medical travel insurance that covers pre-existing conditions and elective procedures. Proof of insurance may be requested at time of booking confirmation.
7. Liability Limitation
MedicHorizon's total liability to any Client shall not exceed the total journey cost paid by that Client. MedicHorizon is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages. MedicHorizon is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers including hospitals, airlines, hotels, or retreat operators.
8. Changes to Your Journey
If a Client wishes to change any element of their confirmed Journey, MedicHorizon will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate the request, subject to availability and any costs incurred by third-party providers. An administration fee may apply for significant changes made within 30 days of departure.
9. Governing Law
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
