2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to your enquiries and provide our consultancy services; to match you with appropriate hospitals and medical specialists (with your consent); to coordinate travel arrangements; to communicate regarding your booking or itinerary; to process payments; to improve our website and services; and to comply with legal obligations in India. We will never sell or rent your data to third parties for marketing.

A. With Partner Hospitals & Medical Specialists
We share your medical and personal details with the hospitals and specialists you have selected, solely for the purpose of your treatment and admission.
B. With Service Providers
We share necessary information with third-party providers (travel agents, hotels, transport companies) who are contractually bound to use your data only for the specific service.
C. With Legal or Regulatory Authorities
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation in India.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or medical data to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Data Retention
Consultancy records (non-medical): typically retained for up to 7 years. Medical information: typically retained for up to 7 years after the completion of your medical journey. Website usage data: retained for up to 12 months. After the retention period expires, your data will be securely deleted or anonymised.
6. Data Security & Cloud Storage
We implement reasonable physical, technical, and organisational measures including encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest; access controls; and regular security reviews. Data may be securely stored using reputable cloud providers (such as Google Workspace, AWS, or similar) that comply with applicable data protection standards. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
7. WhatsApp & Messaging Platforms
By contacting us through WhatsApp or similar platforms, you acknowledge that such platforms have their own privacy and security practices. MedicHorizon is not responsible for the security of messages once they leave our direct control.
8. Payment Processing
Payments made directly to MedicHorizon may be processed through third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, or bank transfer). We do not store your credit card or UPI details on our servers. Hospital payments are made directly by you to the hospital.
9. Analytics & Website Tracking
We may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with our website. This data is anonymised and used solely to improve our website. You can disable cookies via your browser settings. We do not use analytics data for advertising retargeting without your explicit consent.
10. Cross-Border Communication Consent
Because we serve clients from around the world, you consent to communication across international jurisdictions for coordination purposes. Your enquiries and medical reports may be reviewed by our team in India and shared with partner providers in India or other countries as needed, with appropriate safeguards.
11. Your Rights (Under Indian DPDP Act, 2023)
