By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions

"MedicHorizon", "we", "us", "our" refers to MedicHorizon, a health hospitality consultancy based in India.
"Client", "you", "your" refers to any individual or entity using our website or engaging our services.
"Services" means consultancy related to medical travel coordination, hospital matching, itinerary planning, visa guidance, concierge support, and associated administrative assistance.
"Website" means all pages under our domain.

2. Consultancy Nature – Not Medical Advice

MedicHorizon is a health hospitality consultancy. We are not a medical provider, hospital, clinic, or licensed medical practitioner. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or offer medical opinions. Any information provided on our website or during consultations is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. All medical decisions remain solely with you and your treating physicians. No fiduciary, physician-patient, or advisory relationship is created between you and MedicHorizon.

3. Eligibility & Responsible Use

By using our website or services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old; that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement; and that you will provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose.

4. Our Services – What We Do

We provide consultancy and coordination services, which may include reviewing your medical enquiry and reports; presenting hospital and treatment coordination options; facilitating second opinions; assisting with medical visa guidance and flight recommendations; arranging accommodation and recovery retreats; and providing coordination support during your stay. All services are provided on a best-efforts basis. Hospitals, hotels, and other vendors operate independently from MedicHorizon.

5. Payment Structure – How You Pay

A. Hospital Bill (paid directly by you to the hospital)

You pay the hospital directly. MedicHorizon never handles hospital payments.

B. Other Services + Our Service Fee (paid to MedicHorizon)

This includes flights, visa assistance, hotel accommodation, local transportation, concierge, recovery retreat booking, and our service fee and coordination charges. All fees will be clearly stated in your itemised quote before you confirm your booking. No hidden charges.

6. No Guarantee of Medical Outcomes

MedicHorizon does not guarantee any specific medical result, cure, or outcome. Surgical and medical procedures carry inherent risks including complications, adverse reactions, infections, unsuccessful results, or death. We expressly disclaim any liability for medical outcomes. You assume full and sole responsibility for your decision to undergo any medical procedure.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our cancellation and refund terms are detailed in our separate Refund Policy. Hospital payments are governed by the hospital's own policy. Payments made to MedicHorizon are subject to the cancellation schedule and refund conditions in the Refund Policy.

8. Third-Party Providers & Liability

We coordinate with independent third-party providers including hospitals, clinics, surgeons, airlines, hotels, transport companies, and recovery retreats. MedicHorizon acts solely as an intermediary. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, pricing errors, or insolvency of any third-party provider. Any contract for medical treatment, accommodation, or travel is directly between you and that third party.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, MedicHorizon's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total service fee paid by you to us in the six months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, medical expenses incurred outside your agreed itinerary, pain and suffering, or emotional distress. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Insurance Requirement

It is strongly recommended that you maintain valid travel and medical insurance covering medical evacuation, complications from your procedure, trip cancellation, and emergency medical treatment. MedicHorizon does not sell or arrange insurance. You are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate cover.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, and software — is the property of MedicHorizon or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our prior written consent.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of our website and services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data in compliance with the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

13. Communication Recording & Monitoring

For quality assurance, training, and dispute resolution purposes, communications (including phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails) may be recorded or retained. By communicating with us, you consent to such recording and retention.

14. Anti-Fraud & Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse services in cases of suspected fraud, abusive behaviour, harassment, unlawful activity, or provision of false information. We may also terminate an ongoing engagement immediately without refund if such behaviour occurs after booking, subject to the Refund Policy.

15. Website Availability Disclaimer

We strive to keep our website accessible and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from website downtime.

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government lockdowns, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, or changes in Indian visa regulations. In such events, we will work with you to reschedule, or our Refund Policy (force majeure section) will apply.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts of Allahabad shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mediation or arbitration provisions agreed separately.

18. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

19. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Medical Disclaimer, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MedicHorizon.
