This Medical Disclaimer applies to MedicHorizon ("we", "us", "our"), a health hospitality consultancy based in India, and our website, services, communications, and any information we provide. By accessing our website or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Purpose of Information – Not Medical Advice

MedicHorizon is a health hospitality consultancy. We are not a medical provider, hospital, clinic, or licensed healthcare institution. We do not employ doctors, nurses, or medical practitioners. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Any information provided through our website, blog, email consultations, phone calls, or any other communication is for general informational and educational purposes only. Such information is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You should never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or heard from us.

2. Doctor-Patient Relationship Clarification

Your use of our consultancy services does not create a doctor-patient, physician-patient, or any other medical professional relationship between you and MedicHorizon or any of our representatives. The only medical relationship that exists is between you and the treating hospital, surgeon, or medical specialist you choose. Any medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment decisions must be made by you with your qualified healthcare provider.

3. Facilitator Role Only – No Medical Responsibility

MedicHorizon acts solely as a facilitator and coordinator between patients and independent healthcare providers. We do not provide, perform, or supervise any medical treatment. Our role is limited to administrative coordination, hospital matching, travel arrangements, and concierge support. We accept no responsibility for the quality, safety, or outcome of any medical procedure performed by any hospital or specialist.

4. Information Accuracy – Please Verify Independently

We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information about hospitals, treatments, estimated costs, and general treatment information. However, medical knowledge and best practices change rapidly. Hospital services, pricing, and availability may change without notice. Individual medical cases vary significantly. We do not warrant or guarantee that any information is complete, accurate, reliable, current, or error-free. You are encouraged to independently verify all medical information with your own qualified healthcare provider.

5. Outcome Disclaimer – No Guarantee of Results

MedicHorizon does not guarantee any specific medical outcome, cure, improvement, or result. All medical procedures carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: complications (bleeding, infection, adverse reactions to anaesthesia); unsuccessful or partial results; need for revision surgery; extended recovery time; and rare but serious outcomes, including permanent injury or death.

Your decision to undergo any medical procedure is entirely your own. We strongly recommend that you: consult with at least two independent, qualified medical professionals; request and review the hospital's informed consent documents; and understand all risks before proceeding.

Our website may feature client testimonials or patient stories. These are individual experiences and do not constitute a guarantee or prediction of your own results. Medical outcomes vary from person to person based on age, health status, genetics, compliance with aftercare, and many other factors.

7. Third-Party Medical Providers – Independent Verification

We coordinate with independent partner hospitals, clinics, and medical specialists. We do not control, supervise, or assume responsibility for the quality of medical care provided by any third-party provider. Patients are encouraged to independently verify doctor credentials and hospital accreditations through official medical councils (e.g., National Medical Commission, state medical registers) and accreditation bodies (e.g., NABH, JCI).

Any contract for medical treatment is solely between you and the hospital or specialist. MedicHorizon is not liable for any acts, omissions, negligence, errors, or outcomes arising from medical treatment provided by third-party hospitals or specialists.

8. Emergency Situations – Not Our Role

MedicHorizon is not equipped or authorised to handle medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — before, during, or after your journey — you should:

• Call your local emergency number immediately (e.g., 102 in India, 911 in the US, 112 in the EU).
• Contact the nearest hospital emergency room.
• Do not rely on MedicHorizon for emergency medical assistance.

We can provide contact details of your treating hospital, but we cannot dispatch ambulances, provide first aid, or offer emergency medical instructions.

9. Second Opinions – For Reference Only

We may facilitate second opinion consultations with partner hospitals or specialists. Any second opinion provided is for reference only and does not replace a full, in-person clinical evaluation. You should discuss the second opinion with your primary care physician before making any treatment decision.

10. Reliance at Your Own Risk

All information and services provided by MedicHorizon are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Your reliance on any information or recommendation from us is solely at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability for Medical Decisions

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, MedicHorizon shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of: your use or misuse of information provided by us; your decision to undergo any medical procedure, surgery, or treatment; any adverse medical outcome, complication, or injury; or any delay or denial of treatment by a hospital or specialist. You assume full and sole responsibility for all medical decisions you make.

12. Insurance – Your Responsibility

MedicHorizon does not sell, arrange, or endorse any specific travel or medical insurance policy. We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive insurance covering: medical evacuation from India to your home country; complications arising from elective surgery; trip cancellation or interruption; and emergency medical treatment. You are solely responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with your insurance policy terms.

13. Dispute Resolution – Mediation & Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Medical Disclaimer or our services may, at the option of either party, be subject to mediation or arbitration where permitted under applicable Indian law, before resorting to litigation. Mediation shall be attempted first. If mediation fails, the dispute may be referred to a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. This clause does not prevent either party from seeking interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Governing Law

This Medical Disclaimer and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts of Allahabad shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the arbitration clause above.

15. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this Medical Disclaimer from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated disclaimer.
